At Alps Mountaineering Shop, we stand behind our gear as firmly as you stand on mountain peaks. If your equipment doesn’t meet expectations, our return process is as straightforward as following a well-marked trail.
Gear That Can’t Return to Base
For safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on:
- Used sleeping bags (must remain sealed in original packaging)
- Opened camp kitchen items (stoves, cookware with removed seals)
- Personalized/custom gear (like engraved equipment)

Use original packaging with all protective materials. Include all accessories and documentation—just as you’d repack for a multi-day trek. - Ship Back to Base

- PayPal: Typically within 24 hours
Exchanges: We’ll ship replacement gear immediately upon receiving your return (subject to availability).
