Our gear is designed for outdoor enthusiasts who value quality and reliability in challenging environments. By using our site, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old or using the site with parental supervision
• All information you provide is accurate and complete
• You understand our products are intended for responsible outdoor use
• You reside in a region we service (excluding parts of Asia and certain remote areas)

2. Gear Specifications (Product Information)

We take summit-level care to ensure our product descriptions are accurate, but please note:

• Colors may vary slightly due to monitor settings
• Product weights and dimensions are approximate
• Performance claims are based on ideal conditions
• Some items require proper training to use safely

3. Ordering Your Expedition Supplies

3.1 Placing Orders

When you place an order, you’re making an offer to purchase that we may accept or decline. We’ll confirm receipt faster than you can pitch a tent (typically within 1 hour).

4. Shipping Your Gear

We pack orders with basecamp precision within 1-2 business days (excluding weekends/holidays). Choose your shipping method:

• Standard Expedition Shipping: $12.95 via DHL/FedEx (10-15 days after dispatch)
• Free Alpine Shipping: Orders over $50 via EMS (15-25 days after dispatch)

5. Summit-Guaranteed Returns

5.1 Return Policy

If your gear doesn’t meet expectations, our return process is as straightforward as following a well-marked trail:

• Request authorization within 15 days of delivery by emailing [email protected]
• Include order number, item(s), and reason for return
• Return items in original packaging with all protective materials
• Ship to: Alps Mountaineering Shop Returns, 422 Richmond Street, El Cerrito, US 94530

5.2 Non-Returnable Items

For safety and hygiene, we cannot accept returns on:

• Used sleeping bags (must remain sealed)
• Opened camp kitchen items with removed seals
• Personalized/custom gear (e.g., engraved equipment)

5.3 Refunds

We’ll process refunds within 3 business days of receiving your return:

• Credit cards: 3-5 business days after processing
• PayPal: Typically within 24 hours

Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item arrived damaged.
